鄭麗文主席昨日會見馬來西亞友誼及貿易中心駐台代表艾思妮花（Aznifah Isnariah Abdul Ghani），雙方就經貿合作及區域情勢進行深入交流。艾思妮花代表指出，雙方經貿關係高度互補，且持續穩健成長，台灣為馬來西亞主要外資來源之一，亦為東協地區的重要投資夥伴。

此外，目前在台馬來西亞人已超過3萬4千人，涵蓋專業人士與學生。這些人與人之間的連結，為雙方深化理解與推動實質合作的重要基石。艾思妮花代表亦強調，應持續聚焦經貿等務實合作領域。雙方並期盼，在既有的直航航線、密切的觀光交流及關鍵產業合作基礎上，持續推動穩定且互惠的雙邊關係。

Chairperson Cheng Li-wun yesterday met with Ms. Aznifah Isnariah Abdul Ghani, Representative of the Malaysian Friendship and Trade Centre, Taipei. The two sides held in-depth discussions on economic and trade cooperation and regional developments. Representative Aznifah noted that economic ties are highly complementary and continue to grow steadily. Taiwan is among Malaysia’s major sources of foreign investment and a significant investor across ASEAN.

In addition, there are now over 34,000 Malaysians in Taiwan, including both professionals and students. These people-to-people ties form a vital foundation for mutual understanding and substantive cooperation between the two sides. Representative Aznifah also emphasised the importance of maintaining a focus on practical cooperation in economic and trade areas. Both sides expressed hope that, building on the existing network of direct flight connections, robust tourism exchanges, and collaboration in key economic sectors, they can continue to advance stable and mutually beneficial relations.
