國民黨主席鄭麗文與日本台灣交流協會代表片山和之會談
國民黨主席鄭麗文與日本台灣交流協會代表片山和之進行了一場友好且建設性的會談。雙方就台灣政治發展、兩岸情勢，以及台日關係深入交換意見。
片山代表表示，日本一向非常重視台日關係，並長期與國民黨保持良好互動。片山代表提及2013 年台日漁業協議等過去台日之間的貢献，並與鄭主席回顧馬英九前總統任內的重要合作成果，雙方認為這些進展為今天台日關係的穩定與緊密奠定了重要基礎。
鄭主席與片山代表一致強調，維持台海和平穩定不僅攸關台灣，也與區域及全球安全息息相關。這也是台灣與日本共同努力的方向。
片山代表也特別提到，台日人民之間的情感連結非常深厚。他表示非常期待與鄭主席保持密切溝通，並歡迎鄭主席以國民黨主席身分訪問日本。
KMT Chair Cheng Li-wun met today with Japan–Taiwan Exchange Association
Representative Katayama Kazuyuki for a friendly and constructive discussion. The two sides exchanged views on Taiwan’s domestic developments, cross-strait relations, and Taiwan–Japan ties.
Representative Katayama emphasized that Japan places great importance on Taiwan-Japan relations and has long maintained close exchanges with the KMT. He also emphasized the great efforts made by Taiwan and Japan by raising the case of the 2013 Taiwan–Japan Fisheries Agreement. Chair Cheng responded by recalling the major cooperative achievements reached during former President Ma Ying-jeou’s administration. Both sides recognized that these milestones had laid a solid foundation for today’s stable and close Taiwan–Japan relations.
Both Chair Cheng and Representative Katayama reaffirmed that safeguarding peace and stability across the Taiwan Strait is essential to regional and global security, which has been a shared priority for both Taiwan and Japan.
Representative Katayama highlighted the exceptionally high level of mutual goodwill between the people of Taiwan and Japan. He expressed strong interest in maintaining close communication with Chair Cheng and welcomed her to visit Japan in her capacity as KMT Chair.
